Holiday bakers add this gluten-free cookie to your list… It’s packed with super foods and has the perfect balance of cardamom and rose!

Gluten-Free Cardamom Rose Tea Bites
1 cup gluten-free all purpose flour
1 1/2 cups walnuts, finely chopped
3 Tablespoons coconut sugar
3/4 teaspoon cardamom
2 1/2 teaspoons rose water
1/ cup coconut oil or 1 stick of organic butter at room temperature.

Preheat the oven to 300°. In a mixer or large bowl, combine flour, walnuts, sugar, and cardamom. Add the vanilla extract, rose water, and butter in small pieces. Combine ingredients together until it resembles a coarse meal.
Roll dough into 1 inch balls and bake for 35 minutes.
Transfer cookies to a cooling rack.
*If using the option of powdering cookies. Place the powdered sugar on a plate. Once the cookies have cooled but are still warm roll the cookies in the sugar until evenly coated. Return the cookies to the cooling rack and allow to cool completely. For more of a coating of the powdered sugar you can repeat this last step.
