DIY: Natural Aroma Simmering Pot

Scented candles and air sprays are filled with harmful toxins and carcinogens. The effects of these toxins and carcinogens is amplified in the winter months as windows are closed and fresh air circulation is limited. Here is a simple DIY alternative:

What you’ll need:
1 orange peel
5 whole cloves
2 cinnamon sticks
1 rosemary stem
Dash of vanilla extract

Directions:
Fill a small saucepan with water and bring to a boil. Add the ingredients and continue to boil for a few minutes, then turn the heat down to simmer. Add water as needed, usually every 30 minutes or so.
